Kulmbach Spartan Trifecta Weekend 2025

Spartan Race, the world's largest series of obstacle races, is returning to Kulmbach! With over 200 events in 40 countries, Spartan has been thrilling youngsters for twelve years with challenging obstacles such as hills, mud, water and fire.

On 14 June, the young Spartans will compete in the Spartan Kids Race, with distances of 800 m, 1,600 m and 3,200 m for children aged between 4 and 13. On 15 June, the main event begins with the Spartan Beast: a half marathon over 32 obstacles on the challenging trails of the Franconian Forest. For beginners, the Spartan Sprint over 5 km and 20 obstacles offers the perfect opportunity to get a taste of Spartan air and experience the team spirit.

The final event on 16 June is the Spartan Super over 10 km with 25 obstacles - ideal for experienced runners who want to combine fun with a challenge. An unforgettable weekend awaits all participants in the unique setting of the Franconian Forest!

Trifecta participants

If you successfully complete all three formats (Sprint, Super and Beast) this weekend, in addition to the Sprint, Super and Beast medals, you can expect an exclusive Kulmbach Trifecta Weekend medal, your name in the Spartan Lifetime Trifecta Ranking and qualification for the Trifecta World Championships in West Virginia, USA. Whether you start Elite, Age Group or Open, you will have the opportunity to represent your country at the World Championships. All information HERE.


SPARTAN WORKOUT TOUR: The Spartan Workout Tour is a FREE introductory training session with an experienced Spartan Coach. It is a 90 minute bodyweight workout specifically for Spartan ‘beginners’. Everyone gets a FREE t-shirt and an insight into the Spartan community.
